Pratapgarh, Amrit Vichar. Preparations are underway to celebrate Lord Krishna’s birth anniversary with great pomp in the district. Tableaus are being decorated from homes to temples. There will be a colourful celebration when Nandlal appears at midnight on Monday. People have made preparations to celebrate Janmashtami with great pomp. Laddu Gopal’s tableau is being decorated by children and women. The Lord will be born in the Rohini nakshatra. A grand celebration will be held at Shrikripalu Bhaktidham Mangarh. The dham has been uniquely decorated with flowers and lights.
Tableaus are being decorated in all the temples including the ancient Gopal temple of the city, Siddheshwar Mahadev temple in Shyam Bihari Gali, Kali temple in Police Line, Durga temple in Balipur, Panchmukhi Devi temple, Radha-Krishna temple in Belkhar Nath Dham, Ghuisarnath Dham, Radha Krishna temple in Bhayharannath Dham. Bhajans and kirtans will begin here from the evening itself. As soon as the clock strikes 12, conch shells will be sung on the occasion of Shri Krishna’s birth. The Lord will be welcomed by playing bells, conch shells and mridang. After this, Sohar will be sung. Prasad will be distributed. A grand celebration of Shri Krishna’s birth will be celebrated at Shrikripalu Dham Mangarh. Tableaus have been decorated here with attractive decorations.
Extensive security arrangements made in Mangarh
For security arrangements near Kripalu Dham Mangarh, under the direction of SP Dr. Anil Kumar and under the supervision of ASP Sanjay Rai, CO, more than a dozen station officers, PAC and policemen have been deployed. For smooth traffic of vehicles in Kunda, Manikpur and other major markets around the Dham, policemen have been deployed with mobile barriers. Security arrangements will be monitored with the help of CCTV and drone cameras in the control room. Temporary parking has been made for vehicles around the Dham. Only special visitors have been given entry with their vehicles two kilometers before the Dham. Entry other than this is prohibited.
