Prayagraj, Amrit Vichar: Before the Mahakumbh which is going to start from January 13, June Akhara has taken a big decision in the meeting held on Friday. 13 year old Sadhvi Gauri Giri, who joined Juna Akhara a few days ago, and her guru Kaushal Giri have been expelled from Juna Akhara. It is being told that a general meeting of the Akhara was held after the matter of inclusion of a minor girl in the Akhara by breaking the rules came to light. After which it was decided in the meeting that the minor Sadhvi should be immediately handed over to her mother and father.
The minor and his guru have also been directed to leave the Mahakumbh Mela. This proposal has also been passed in the meeting. It has been said that a woman will be given Sanyas initiation only after she turns 22 years of age. Kaushal Giri had recently made his daughter Rakhi Singh a Sadhvi in the presence of Petha businessman Sandeep Singh of Agra and his wife Reema Singh. Saint Kaushal Giri had named Rakhi as Gauri Giri. During this time, a video of Gauri Giri also went viral on social media. In which she had said that she wants to become an IAS after studying. Meanwhile, she came here and was included in the Akhara. This matter started gaining momentum after the video went viral.
After the matter escalated, the police also intervened in this matter. On Friday, a Panchayat was held at the Akhara police station and the saints said that he will not be included in the Akhara. After this, a Panchayat was also held in the fair cantonment of Juna Akhara. The meeting held in the general meeting of Juna Akhara was held in the presence of patron Mahant Hari Giri, president Mahant Prem Giri, spokesperson Narayan Giri etc. In this, Kaushal Giri and Gauri Giri alias Rakhi have been expelled from Juna Akhara with immediate effect. Gauri and Guru along with their parents have been asked to leave the Mahakumbh. Mahant Hari Giri, patron of Juna Akhara, said that the girl cannot be included in the Akhara until she turns 22 years old. He has been included by breaking the rules of the Akhara.
According to the rule, in such cases, first the raw document of consent has to be given, after 6 months its concrete consent i.e. the concrete document is taken. On the basis of which it is believed that the decision was not taken impulsively. Without doing so, it is considered breaking the tradition of the Akhara and in this way the girl has been included by breaking the tradition. On which the decision to expel has been taken. Hari Giri Maharaj, patron of Shripanch Dashnam Juna Akhara, said that the sannyasa of the 13-year-old girl has been returned. Mahant Kaushalgiri, who initiated the girl into Sannyasa, has been suspended for seven years. The child should go back with her parents.
