Many times money is found on the road. In such a situation, some people take money, and some donate in temples etc. Recently, the famous saint of Vrindavan, Premanand Ji Maharaj told what to do if you get money on the road.
A devotee questioned whether the money should be kept on the way? On this, Premanand Ji Maharaj said that the money received on the road should not be kept, because these money belongs to someone else and it is not considered appropriate to take them or keep them with you.
Maharaj Ji said that getting money on the road is considered auspicious sign, but they should not be lifted and kept with you, because doing so is considered equal to stealing someone’s money.
If you get money on the road and you pick them up and keep them with you or spend them on your needs, then it makes you sin. Therefore, do not spend on your work by raising money from the road.
Premanand Maharaj says that if you get money on the road, then you should use them in religious works or donate them to the temple. Apart from this, the money received on the road should serve cow mother, it gives virtue.
If you put the money found on the road in the service of a cow or any other animal, it gives both the money losing money and returning the lost money.
