Ayodhya. On the second Monday of Shravan month in the holy city of Lord Shri Ram, the announcements of ‘Har Har Mahadev’, ‘Bam Bam Bhole’ and ‘Jai Bholenath’ have been echoing since the early hours of the month of Shravan month. Shiva devotees are anointing Lord Shiva with water and milk by bathing in the Saryu river from four o’clock in the morning. From Sunday evening itself, the arrival of Kanwari started due to Kamika Ekadashi and Monday’s coincidence, which continues. The roads of Ramnagari have become devoted by the crowd of Kanwari. Ayodhya is expected to remain Bhagwamay till Tuesday due to Trayodashi date.
The district administration has already made extensive arrangements in view of the large number of Kanwari. Administrative officials have been deployed by dividing Ayodhya into various zones. District Magistrate Nikhil Funde and SSP Gaurav Grover finalized preparations on Sunday. The entry of vehicles from Dharmapath to Jupiter Kund intersection has been completely discontinued. Traffic is also banned on National Highway 27 from Ayodhya to Basti and Gorakhpur. Large vehicles coming from Lucknow-Barabanki road to Ayodhya are being diverted from Ramsanehi Ghat to Purvanchal Expressway. The same system is also applicable to routes coming from Ambedkarnagar and Gonda. This traffic ban will continue till July 23.
There have been long queues of devotees since morning to see Ram temple and Hanumangarhi. Devotees are looking at Shri Ramlala and Hanuman ji.
