Lucknow, Amrit Views: The example of ‘Ganga-Jamuni’ Tehzeeb of India was seen in a colony in the capital Lucknow. The ‘Shiva Vatika’ built by the colony people took Rosa Iftar, prayed with Jamaat and then the program of Lord Bholenath’s Aarti was completed in the same premises. The Roja Iftar was organized in the premises ‘Shiv Vatika’ in front of Baba Awadheshwar Nath Temple on Sunday evening in Awadhapuram Colony located in Gudamba area of Lucknow. During this time, arrangements were also made to offer Namaz for Rojedars. After the Namaz was completed with the Jamaat, the program of Aarti of Baba Bholenath to be held in the evening was also completed, in which people of Muslim society also attended.
Rajesh Tiwari, president of ‘Awadhapuram Welfare Society’, an organization organizing the Rosa Iftar program, told ‘PTI-Bhasha’, “Society organized Rosa Iftar on Sunday evening at ‘Shiv Vatika’ park in the colony. In this, many Hindu-Muslim brothers of the colony took part and presented a spectacular sample of mutual brotherhood.
Rajesh Tiwari said that ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ is included in the basic mantras of Sanatan Dharma and honoring the faith of every religion has always been the identity of Indian culture. He informed that Awadhapuram Colony imbibes the culture of Awadh. The Shiva temple located here and the park ‘Shiv Vatika’ in front of it has been constructed by the residents of the colony with their resources. Also said, “People of the Muslim society of the colony have also made significant contribution in the construction of the temple and they have been standing shoulder to shoulder with us in facing every difficulty in its construction. The name Shiv Vatika has also been given by a Muslim brother here. The Muslim brothers of the colony take part in events like Bhandare, Dussehra and Mata Rani’s awakening to be held here. This brotherhood has been the beauty of our country for centuries. ”
Society secretary Arif Ali Siddiqui said that organizing the Roja Iftar program in the temple of Lord Shiva and taking part of the colony and the residents in it shows that “the religion does not teach hatred among themselves.” He said that in today’s era, Rosa Iftar in Shiva Vatika can surprise many people but we all have Ganga-Jamuni is winning Tehzeeb and will continue to live further. Siddiqui said that after Rosa Iftar and Namaz in Shiva Vatika, aarti was organized in the temple as a daily aarti in which members of Muslim society also attended. He said, “This whole incident gives comfort that the brotherhood in our blood is still alive with the same Ravani.” Society’s executive member Shivkumar Singh said, “All the male women on earth are the child of the same Supreme Father.
