3. Donating sesame seeds – Donating sesame seeds on Sarva Pitru Amavasya is considered very auspicious. It is believed that by donating sesame seeds on Amavasya Tithi, ancestors attain salvation.
4. Fruits- Donating fruits on Amavasya Tithi is considered very auspicious. It is believed that by doing this, obstacles in life are removed and blessings of ancestors are received.
5. Jaggery- Jaggery should be donated on Pitru Amavasya. It is believed that by doing this the ancestors are satisfied and bless their descendants.
