Jyotishacharya Vighnesh Dubey says that the worship method of Shivling in Sawan is very easy, it is necessary to worship with true mind and reverence. Told that in the month of Sawan, get up early in the morning and take a bath. Wear clean clothes after bathing. If you are keeping a fast on Monday, then take a pledge to fast. First of all, offer Ganga water on Shivling, if there is no Ganges water, then you can also use clean water. After this, anoint the Shivling with milk, honey, curd, ghee and sugar. Panchamrit is made by mixing all these things, which is considered very auspicious. Offering belpatra on Shivling is considered very virtuous.
Keep in mind that Belpatra should be fresh and Moon (Triptri) is made on it. Belpatra is very dear to Shiva. Offering flowers of dhatura, cannabis and mud on Shivling is also considered auspicious. Lord Shiva likes these things very much. Offer white flowers, especially Kaner, Jasmine or Madar flowers on the Shivling. Also offer fruits. Light a lamp and incense in front of the Shivling. You can add cow’s ghee or sesame oil to the lamp. Chant Shiva Ji’s mantra. The simplest mantra is – ‘Om Namah Shivaya’ chant this mantra at least 108 times. You can also chant Mahamrityunjaya Mantra.
Follow the fast
Jyotishacharya Vighnesh Dubey says that at the end of the puja, perform the aarti of Shiva and offer it. Mave sweets, fruits or dry fruits can be kept in indulgence. If you are fasting, then do fruits throughout the day and keep remembering Shiva ji.
Keep caution
Jyotishacharya says that never offer basil leaves on the Shivling. Do not keep anger, greed or hatred towards anyone at the time of worship, do not reverse the bell -paper.
