The month of Sawan is very special for Lord Shiva, in this month, Shiva devotees worship their adorable Lord Shiva and observe fast. Every year the month of Sawan starts from the Krishna Paksha Chaturdashi Tithi of Ashada month. This year this date is falling on 11 July. It is believed that in this month, Bholeshankar of those who worship with true heart fulfills all wishes. The month of Sawan will start from 11 July and run till 9 August. Devotees should worship Shiva these days. Also, Shiva Rudrashtakam should be recited during Shiva praise.
