Sharad Purnima Snan-Daan and Lakhmi Pujan Muhurat 2024: Sharad Purnima has religious significance in Hindu religion. On this day, religious activities like charity, worship and bathing etc. are considered very auspicious. The full moon of Ashwin month is known as Sharad Purnima or Ashwin Purnima. This year Sharad Purnima is on 16 October 2024. Worship of Moon God along with Goddess Lakshmi on the day of Sharad Purnima is considered very important. It is believed that on this day the moon shines with its sixteen phases and it rains nectar.
Time of Sharad Purnima bath and donation – Sharad Purnima bath and donation will be done on 16th October only. Fast will be observed on this day only. On the day of Sharad Purnima, the auspicious time for bathing and donation will be from 04.42 am to 05.32 am. If for some reason you are not able to take bath and donate during this time, then you can do it in any auspicious time except Rahukaal and Bhadra.
