Barabanki, Amrit Vichar. From the third day of Navratri, Maa Chandraghanta, the third form of Maa Durga, was worshiped as per the rituals in the puja pandals along with the Devi temples. While crowds of devotees were seen from morning till evening, the wind of devotion was also seen blowing in the puja pandals. Along with various religious events, cultural programs are also being organized till late night in decorated puja pandals in different areas of the district. In which a large number of devotees are participating and taking blessings of the mother.
From the city to the rural areas, the organizing boards are installing a grand statue of Maa Durga and performing religious rituals as per the rituals. Apart from this, magic, competition along with jagran, bhajan and kirtan are also being organized for entertainment at night. In which the number of devotees seems to be increasing every day.
A grand statue of Maa Durga has been installed by the organizing board on Bhavani Neem platform in Katra of Masauli area. A huge crowd of devotees is gathering till late evening. Villagers are coming here with full body, mind and wealth to participate in the Aarti. Ratan Prasad, Ankit, Harnam etc. of the organizing board told that cultural programs are also going on in the puja pandal.
For the last 15 years, a grand statue of Mother Goddess is being installed in the puja pandal near the Shiva temple in Vishunpur town. Shubham, Ankit, Rinku, Vipin etc., who were part of the organizing team, told that children’s competitions are being organized every day along with Aarti. Kanya Bhoj will also be organised.
A grand pandal of Maa Durga has been decorated in Mohalla Kadirabad 2 of Ramnagar town. Where Shri Ram Kali Hanuman Mandir Committee President Naimu Shukla along with Satish, Puneet, Amit, Nikhil etc. told that along with daily puja, Kavi Sammelan, Bal Ramlila, Jagran etc. are being organised. Ramlila is being staged from the first day of Navratri.
