Barabanki, Amrit Vichar. During Navratri, nine Shakti forms of Goddess Durga, the mother of the world, Adishakti Maa Durga, are worshiped for nine days. Devotees observe fast for nine days. Mother Durga removes all the troubles of the devotees and destroys the evil ones. Pratipada date of Shukla Paksha of Ashwin month will start from 12.18 am on 02nd October. This date will end on October 04 at 02:58 am. According to Udya Tithi, Shardiya Navratri will start from Thursday 03 October.
