Unnao, Amrit Vichar. On Thursday, the first day of Shardiya Navratri, crowds of devotees were seen in all the Devi temples of the district since early morning. Devotees visited the mother and prayed for the desired results. Along with this, a fair like atmosphere was seen outside the temples. The entire area became devotional due to the devotional songs being played in the temples. People established Kalash in their homes on auspicious time.
Let us tell you that the ritual of worshiping the nine forms of Adi Shakti Maa Durga is done in the form of Navratri. In these nine forms, devotees worship in the form of Shailputri, Bamhacharini, Chandraghanta, Kushmanda, Skandhamata, Maa Katyayani, Kalratri, Mahagauri and Siddhidatri and offer their wishes at the feet of the mother. During this period, the whole area becomes filled with devotion due to the havan, worship and fragrance.
During these nine days, people from far and wide visit the Maa Durga temple in Shuklaganj, which has mythological importance, and pray for the desired results. On Thursday, devotees stood in long queues early in the morning to have darshan of the Mother Goddess. Where devotees took Prasad in bundles decorated with flowers and sweets and offered them to the Mother Goddess. Along with this, Maha Aarti of Maa Durga has been organized in the temple in the morning and evening.
Kalash installation in homes
On the first day of Navratri, devotees of the Goddess install Kalash in their homes at an auspicious time and invoke the Goddess with rituals. After this, while reciting Durga Saptashati of Vedic mantras, worshiped Goddess Durga and prayed for happiness and prosperity.
