Sanctify the idol, photo or idol of Mother Skandmata or Parvati Mata with Ganga water.

According to the ancient story related to Mother Skandamata, once the terror of a demon named Tarakasur had increased a lot. But no one could destroy this demon. Because the killing of this demon was possible only at the hands of Lord Shiva’s son Kartikeya. After this, Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati got married and their son was born who was named Kartikeya. Then Mother Parvati took the form of Skandamata to train her son Skanda i.e. Lord Kartikeya to fight with Tarakasura. After this, Kartikeya ji killed the demon Tarakasura.
