Shivaratri is the festival of pleasing the gods of Devas on 26 February. Due to this, shops in the Kavad fair in the Tire Tirtha city are ready. Shiva devotees have started reaching the Gangaghat to fill the kavad. However, only far-flung kawandis are reaching. On Saturday, the batch of Kanwari of Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh reached Lahra Ganga Ghat, where he took a bath in the Ganges and raised the kanvad.
Sher Singh of Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh says that every year the pilgrims come to take Ganga water, come here and decorate the kavad. The ancient mythological temples visit and offer Ganga water to the Siddha temple located here. Laxman Singh says that many generations are associated with Tirthanagari. His grandfather-grandfather Tirthanagri used to come to the Ganges bath. They are maintaining the same tradition. They walk 450 km to fill the water and will perform Jalabhishek on their Ishtadeva on Mahashivaratri. At the same time, the district administration is also engaged in fixing the arrangements regarding the Kandar Yatra so that no kanwadis will have any problem.
The atmosphere became Shivamay with bombing shouts

The atmosphere from the Kaswadis passing from Soron to Kasganj also became Shivamay. The cheers of “bomb-bombs” are heard. However, far-flung Kanwadis are reaching the Ganges Ghats to fill water.
