Shraddha Paksha will end on 2nd October on the new moon day of Bhadrapada month. It is called Sarva Pitru Amavasya. Shraddha of those ancestors whose exact date of death is not known is performed on Sarva Pitru Amavasya. This year, the solar eclipse will occur from 9.17 pm to 3.14 am on October 2. This will be an annular eclipse, also known as the Ring of Fire. This is an important event for astronomy experts. According to scientists, an annular solar eclipse occurs when the Moon does not completely cover the Sun. Due to which the outer edge of the Sun appears as a bright ring.
Sutak period of this solar eclipse will not be valid
Astrologer Pandit Sandeep Parashar told that according to religious scriptures, the time from 9 hours before the beginning of the lunar eclipse and 12 hours before the solar eclipse till its end is Sutak period. Sutak period is considered inauspicious. In this, the doors of temples remain closed. But, where eclipse is not visible, Sutak period is not valid. This time the solar eclipse of October 2 will not be visible here. Therefore Sutak period will also not be valid.
