Lucknow, Amrit thoughts. The Yogi government has made arrangements at a large scale regarding the Kavad Yatra, a symbol of the faith of Shiva devotees in the month of Sawan. This time, the safety of women devotees, especially, has been given top priority. On the instructions of CM Yogi, 10 thousand women policemen have been deployed to strengthen the security system of women devotees on the route of Kavad Yatra, which is considered to be the largest number of the ever.
In a recent high -level meeting of the Kandar Yatra to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, officials had told that about 6 crore devotees from various states including the country could participate in the Kandar Yatra, who will complete their journey through the state. It is expected to include 10-12 percent i.e. 60 to 70 lakh women devotees. On this, the CM was instructed to implement the women -centric security model.
More than 10 thousand women policemen include 8,541 women chief constables and 1,486 women sub -inspectors. Apart from this, this time for the convenience of women devotees, the presence of women constables at the help desk has been ensured, which will not only provide assistance but will also provide counseling in sensitive matters. Apart from this, Shakti Help Booth is also being established in many districts with the help of women voluntary organizations. The initiative of the Yogi government shows the spirit of women coming and going anywhere fearlessly in the state.
