Mathura. In front of the proposed Bankebihari Corridor in Vrindavan in Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh, Krishna’s Paadi will be constructed at a cost of Rs 100 crore on the lines of Ram of Ayodhya. Shyam Bahadur Singh, Chief Executive Officer of UP Braj Tirtha Development Council and Vice President of Mathura-Vrindavan Development Authority, gave this information on Saturday.
Tourism department fixed funds for this
He informed that the tourism department has been given instructions to send proposals according to this by fixing the funds for this. Rama’s Paidi in Ayodhya is a series of ghats situated on the banks of the Saryu River, which is known for religious importance. Singh said that one and a half km long Yamuna Ghats will be revived in the Parikrama area, which will completely change the landscape of the ghats of Yamuna in Vrindavan. He says that from Paidi itself, devotees will be able to have a grand darshan of Bankebihari with the darshan of Sapta Devalaya Circuit.
713 meters construction in first phase
From Kalidah to KC Ghat, Krishna’s Paadi is to be constructed on the ghats of Yamuna in one and a half km, in which the ghats buried in the sand will be removed. In the first phase, 713 meter construction work will be done from Jugal Kishore Ghat to KC Ghat. According to Singh, the rip ghat and other ghats falling on the parikrama road will be revived. In this scheme, the stairs of all these ghats and the ancient umbrellas built around all these ghats will be repaired and given a grand form.
The proposed Krishna’s Paidi will be brightened in a beautiful way with ‘Fasad Lighting and Foot Lighting’. According to Singh, the water of Yamuna will be first taken in ‘Raini Well’ through the channel on the ghats, then the Paidi reservoir will be filled. After that, Yamuna water will be brought to the stairs of the ghat so that devotees can do the convenient bathing and Achman etc. according to the religion. The Signature Bridge will be added to the next plan from this Paidi of Krishna, so that devotees will be able to enter the Bankebihari Corridor complex via Paadi through the bridge.
