Yamuna Dharamraj Temple, Mathura—
There is Vishram Ghat in the middle of Mathura city of Uttar Pradesh where Lord Yamraj is seated with his sister Yamuna Devi. This ancient temple of Yamraj and Yamuna Devi is known as Yamuna Dharamraj Temple. According to mythology, Lord Krishna rested at this ghat after killing Kansa, hence it is also known as Vishram Ghat.
Goddess Yamuna and Lord Yamraj are worshiped in Yamuna Dharamraj Temple. A four-armed statue of Yamuna ji is installed here. The goddess has a plate in one hand and a lotus flower in the other. Yamuna ji is present in this temple complex, where if brothers and sisters take a dip together, then the problems going on in their relationship end and they also get relief from the wrath of Yamraj.
