The Shurveer village of Maharajganj under Siwan district of Bihar is hiding a mystery inside itself. It is the only village in the district where there is not a single temple. The deities here are seated under the open sky. Those who tried to build the temple were mysteriously killed.
This is the reason that local people do not dare to build a temple at any place in this village. A person from the village dared to build the temple but 70 -year -old Ram Kripal Pandey says that he died mysteriously, not in the village for centuries, a temple who talked about building the temple or thought of his either snake bite or mysterious death. However, such an incident happened 5 years ago. Then the fear increased among the people. People are afraid that if they come forward to build the temple, they may die.
Most of the people who talked about building a temple in Khurveer village died of snake couple bite. Local people say that there is a peepal tree in the village itself. There is also a pair of snakes on the said tree. Local Ram Kripal Pandey says that Shurveer has places of 8 deities in the village. All are sitting under the open sky. Villagers told that everyone sees the snake every day. There is a pair of serpents around the Shivling. Local people change their way after seeing the couples of snakes.
Most people worship at home
Villagers say that due to snake bite and mysterious deaths, there are many families who worship deities in the house by putting photos or calendars. At the same time, some people sit under the open sky and go to worship the deities. Where there is also fear in the minds of people. Despite this, people worship with faith. Villagers believe that there is no hope of ever a temple in Shurovir village.
