Lucknow, Amrit Vichar: The approach roads of five religious places in the capital will be widened and beautified. These projects were approved in the meeting chaired by District Magistrate Suryapal Gangwar. Public Works Department will get the construction work done. Rs 74.76 crore has been sanctioned for 15.50 km of roads. This proposal was made in the meeting on development works chaired by the Finance Minister. He has also given the green signal. PWD has been instructed to prepare the proposal.

Roads will be widened and beautified
-Widening and beautification of the old Hanuman temple road located at Unuhiya market from Rahimnagar intersection to Kursi road. Rs 8 crore will be spent on 800 roads.
-Kathwara Maa Chandrika Devi Dham road via Itaunja Shivpuri will be widened and improved. Rs 42.11 crore will be spent on 10 kilometer construction.
– Widening and improvement of Hindu Kheda link road from Kanpur road to ancient Maa Kali temple. Rs 4.65 crore will be spent on the 2.25 kilometer road. The route starts from Lucknow Kanpur and goes to Unnao border via Gulrihan Kheda, Bakat Kheda, Hindu Kheda.
– Widening, beautification and construction of footpath on Bhootnath Temple road from Lucknow-Ayodhya road. Rs 5 crore will be spent on construction of 500 meter road.
-Widening of road near Hanuman temple on Lucknow-Kursi-Mahmudabad road. 15 crores will be spent on construction work of length 1.5 kilometres.
