So that the festival of laughter can be celebrated, but this time many people may only be disappointed. Due to the festive weather, there is a huge crowd in trains going from Delhi, Mumbai and other big cities to Patna and other areas of Bihar. The seats in many important trains have already been completely filled, and the waiting list has exceeded 150. For example, there is no seats available in Vikramshila Express from 26 to 28 September, while there is a long waiting list from 20 to 25 September and 29 September to 2 October.
Similarly, seats are not available in Purva Express from 20, 24 to 28 September and 4-5 October. There is a position of “No Room” on 24 September in the Northeast Contact Revolution and also on 27-28 September in the Brahmaputra Mail. Amrit Bharat Express and Farakka Express are also watching heavy waiting list between 26 to 28 September.
The Lokmanya Tilak-Dibrugarh Express running from Mumbai is also huge crowd, in which all seats have been booked on 20, 24, 27 September and 4, 8, 11, 15 October. Railway officials say that this crowd may increase further due to the holidays of Navratri and Dussehra. For the convenience of passengers, the Railways is planning to run additional special trains soon, which may be announced soon.
Additional deployment of Railway Protection Force (RPF) and ticket inspectors (TTE) is also being considered to control the crowd, so that chaos can be avoided in the festive season. Passengers have been advised to book tickets only through the official website or app and avoid buying tickets from any broker or unauthorized agent.
In view of the situation of unprecedented crowd in trains in this festive season, passengers planning to visit Bihar are suggested to book their tickets immediately and make a complete preparation for the journey in advance.
