The seven planets will be in a line on February 28, how can the people of India see it

by Sandhya Hirani
February 23, 2025
28 फरवरी को एक सीध में होंगे सातों ग्रह, इसे कैसे देख सकते हैं भारत के लोग

On the last day of this month, a rare event is going to happen in the sky, in which all planets will appear together. Indeed, on February 28, all the seven planets of the solar system – Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune – will appear together. Prayagraj Mahakumbh 2025 is close to its closing and meanwhile a rare event is decreasing in the sky in which all planets will appear together. This astronomical event will make the importance of Mahakumbh even more special. Because, people believe that such astronomical events increase spiritual energy.

The night of 28 February will be special.
February 28 will be a special day for those interested in astronomy. This phenomenon is called planetary alignment or planetary parade. On the night of 28 February, the planetary parade will be at its peak. It has been going on since last month. Scientists say that this alignment is very rare and will not be seen for the next 15 years. After this, such a parade of planets will be seen only in 2040. On February 28, all planets will appear together for a short time. Experts say it would be better to go to an open field away from the city lights to see it. If the weather remains clear during this time, then all the planets except Uranus and Neptune can be seen with naked eyes. You will need binoculars to see Uranus and Neptune.

Where can the planetary parade be seen in India?
If you want to see this view in India, then it can be seen from anywhere. However, to see this amazing astronomical event, we have to go to an open field away from the city. If the weather is not clear, then this rare coincidence can be seen with the help of binoculars. According to astronomers, the planet alignment occurs when all the planets appear together on one side of the Sun. This alignment may include 3 to 8 planets.

On February 28, all 7 planets will be seen in a straight line.
There are usually 5 or 6 planets in a major alignment. But on February 28, all 7 planets are coming together, which is a rare view. This amazing event in the solar system will begin in January 2025 and end in February. The ‘planetary parade’, which began in January, included Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. This parade of planets is expected to reach its peak in February, when Mercury will also join it. It is believed that Mercury, the closest planet of the Sun, will be the 7th additional planet which will complete the parade of the planets, due to which all the planets of the solar system will be seen together in the sky on February 28 this year. The planet Mercury is usually not visible at night, because it is always very close to the Sun in the sky. This means that it can be seen only after sunset or during the time of sunrise, when it is on its climax (most distance from the Sun).

What does ‘planetary alignment’ really mean?
According to NASA, the position of the planets indicates many different events. In our solar system, the planets sometimes row in space while revolving around the Sun, causing events called opposition and combination. The alignment of planets can also mean clear lines with other planets, moon or bright strings in our sky. To see the parade of planets, you can go to an open place away from the city light, where the sky is clean. According to NASA, this parade of planets is not a day -long phenomenon, as the planets run very slow. The opportunity to see many planets usually lasts from several weeks to a month or more. 5-Granded events also last for several days, as Mercury goes out of sunlight for some time and then comes back.
