According to Vastu, on the first day of Navratri, make a swastika sign at the entrance of the house with ocher color and pour the mango leaves. It is believed that the toran helps in removing the negativity of the house and brings happiness and prosperity.
During Chaitra Navratri, burning a unbroken light in the house reduces Vastu defects. Those who are not fast for nine days, should light a lamp of ghee in the east or north east direction of the house. Doing this provides benefits. If there is a persistent negativity in your house, due to which the family has to face problems, then you should spray cow urine and Ganga water every morning and evening in nine days of Navratri.
It is believed that by taking this remedy, negativity is destroyed and prosperity comes. Red, yellow, pink and green curtains should be applied in the house during Navratri.
