Method of worship on Hartalika Teej-
Let us tell you that on the day of Hartalika Teej, married women should wake up in the morning and take a bath, after which they should observe a waterless fast on this day to please Lord Shiva and Parvati. On the day of Teej, install the Shivling on a pedestal and then perform abhishek on the Shivling with water, milk, curd, honey, ghee etc.
After this, decorate the Shivling and the idol of Goddess Parvati. Do the sixteen adornments of Goddess Parvati. After this, light a lamp, burn incense and offer naivedya. During the puja, chant the mantras ‘Om Namah Shivaya’, ‘Om Parvati Namah’. At the end of the puja, recite the story of Hartalika Teej. After this, perform aarti and ask for forgiveness for any mistake.
