This is the world's most mysterious waterfall, not falling on sinners to a drop of this

Uttarakhand, called ‘Devbhoomi’, is famous for its supernatural beauty and religious places. The quiet litigants, huge mountains, and temples settled in the lap of the skyscraper fill everyone with spiritual energy. But the beauty of Uttarakhand is not only limited to temples, the natural waterfalls here are equally mysterious and miraculous. One such waterfall is ‘Vasudhara Falls’, which surprises people with its unique belief and mystery.

Where is the Vasudhara waterfall located?

This waterfall is located in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, about 8 km from Badrinath Dham. It is located about 5 kilometers from the last village of India, ‘Mana’. The waterfall, which is about 400 feet at an altitude of about 13,500 feet above sea level, falls from a height of about 400 feet. Its stream looks like white beads and looking at it, it seems as if someone is coming down from heaven.

Why is it called miraculous?

The biggest feature of Vasudhara waterfall is that it does not drop its stream on everyone. It is believed that this stream does not touch the body of sinners, while falling on the saintly souls. According to local beliefs, if a single drop of this waterfall touchs your body, then it is a sign that you are a true and virtuous person. But if the edge of water falls away from you, then it is considered a sign of the burden of your soul.

Story is related to Puranas and Pandavas

This waterfall is also mentioned in ancient Hindu texts. It is said that when the Panch Pandavas of Mahabharata were trying to heaven, Sahadeva gave up his life here. Therefore, this place is considered very sacred from spiritual point of view. Apart from this, it is also believed that eight Vasu (Ashta Vasu) did harsh penance here – whose names are: Ayaj, Dhruva, Som, Dhar, Anil, Anal, Pratyush and Prabhash. This waterfall after this is called ‘Vasudhara’.

Its water is full of herbs

Local people and devotees believe that when this waterfall falls down the mountain, it touches plants and herbs with many medicinal properties on the way. Therefore, its water is also considered very beneficial from medical point of view. It is said that whoever touches or drinks its water, his body becomes healthy and feels mental peace.

Vasudhara makes heaven feel
