Temples of India-
There are a total of 51 Shakti Peethas in Hinduism, which also includes the name of Kamakhya Devi Temple. It is believed that the vagina of Goddess Sati fell here. This temple is known as the center of Tantra Vidya all over the world. It is said that the wishes of the devotees are fulfilled by the worship and darshan of the Goddess here, but let us tell you that here the devotees offer meat and fish as bhog to the Goddess.
Devotees believe that the goddess is pleased with the offering of meat and fish and fulfils their wishes by removing their sufferings. After offering the food, it is distributed among some devotees as prasad. The second temple of the country is Kalighat Temple which is located in Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal.
In this temple, devotees offer goat as prasad to Maa Kali and after the sacrifice of the goat, its meat is distributed among the devotees as prasad. It is believed that consuming this prasad brings blessings of Maa Kali.
