From when to when will Tritiya Tithi start- Tritiya Tithi will start on 20 September 2024 at 12:39 am and will end on 20 September 2024 at 09:15 pm.
Whose Shraddha is performed on the third day of Pitru Paksha- Tritiya Shraddha is performed for those deceased family members who died on Tritiya Tithi. On this day, Shraddha can be performed for both Shukla Paksha and Krishna Paksha Tithi. Tritiya Shraddha is also called Teej Shraddha.
Who should perform Jal Tarpan- According to Vishnu Puran, Pind Daan and Jal Tarpan for the father should be performed by the son, if there is no son then the wife, if there is no wife then the real brother can also perform the Shraddha Karma.
