UP: First big Mars of Jyeshtha month today, huge crowds of devotees gathered in Hanuman temples, bhandaras on major square-intersections of Lucknow

Lucknow. In Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, the round of organizing Bhandare started from Tuesday on the occasion of Bada Mangal and crowds of devotees gathered in various Hanuman temples of the city. A large number of devotees from Aliganj to Hazratganj and Aminabad to the university route reached Hanuman temples to worship and visit God.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath posted on the social media platform ‘X’ on the occasion of Bada Mangal and said, “Manojavan Marutatulayavayang Jitendriya Buddhaimatan Senior. Vatatmajam Vanarayutamukhyam Sri Ramadutam Sharanam Prapadaye. Heartfelt greetings and wishes to everyone of ‘Bada Mangal’, the first Tuesday of Jyeshtha month. “He said,” Sankarmak, Kesarinandan, the lord of the incredible force, bless all of courage, devotion and health, this is a prayer. Jai bajarangabalee.”

Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak also greeted the people of the state on this occasion. Maurya posted on ‘X’ and said, “Om Hanumate Namah! Heartfelt greetings to all the people and the people of the state on the holy festival of Bada Mangal, the first Tuesday of Jyeshtha month. The prayer to Lord Shree Hanuman, who destroys the crises, is to bless us all.

Jyotishacharya Ashutosh Varshney of Prayagraj explained to a news agency on the spiritual aspect of Bada Mars, “Bada Mangal is said to be on Tuesday of Jyeshtha month. It is believed that Lord Hanuman met Shri Ram for the first time on the day of Bada Mars. This year the Bada Mangal Utsav will start from May 13 to five Tuesdays. ”Hanuman Temple at Aliganj is a popular religious place among devotees due to its historical importance.

According to the official website of Lucknow district administration, “One of many legends is said that Alia Begum, the grandmother of Nawab Wajid Ali Shah, had fallen very ill and had prayed in the temple to overcome it.” After recovering, he celebrated a huge festival here, distributed bailout of millions, and since then the tradition of the fair started.

Explaining the historical significance of Bada Mangal, Lucknow astrologer Trilokinath Singh told a news agency, “The Hanuman temple of Aliganj is a proof of Alia Begum, wife of Nawab Shuja-ud-Daula and the grandmother of Nawab Wajid Ali Shah, and Nawab Wajid Ali Shah’s grandmother Alia Begum. This temple is a symbol of all -religion harmony and every Tuesday in Jyeshtha month, crowds of devotees of different religions gather. ”

Astrologer Trilokinath Singh has an office near the famous Hanuman temple in Aliganj and he also organizes Bhandare. Public Relations Officer of Lucknow Municipal Corporation Pranjal Dixit said, “More than 400 bhandaras are being organized by various organizations in Lucknow.”
