On this day, devotees duly worship Shri Hari by keeping fast throughout the day. The fast of Ekadashi falls twice every month, a total of 24 Ekadashi fasts are observed in such a year.
According to the almanac, Phalgun month is still going on and Ekadashi fast falling this month is being known as Vijaya Ekadashi. The fast will be celebrated on 24 February.
