According to the Hindu calendar, Ashtami Tithi is starting from 7:29 am on October 10 and this date will end on October 11 at 6:52 am. After this, Navami Tithi will start which will last till 5:47 am on October 12. This time Saptami and Ashtami Tithi are falling on the same day, in such a situation, observing Ashtami fast is not considered auspicious, so this time Ashtami and Navami fast will be observed on the same day i.e. Friday, October 11.
