Lalita Saptami is celebrated on the seventh date of the Shuklapaksha of Bhadrapada month. This day is celebrated as the birth anniversary of Lalita Devi, who is the friend of Radha Rani and Lord Krishna.

Every year Lalita Saptami is celebrated on the seventh day of Shuklapaksha of Bhadrapada month, one day before Radhashtami. This year the festival of Lalita Saptami will be celebrated on 30 August 2025, Saturday.
Importance of Lalita Saptami
Lalita Saptami is the birthday of Shri Lalita Devi. Therefore Lalita Saptami is celebrated in honor of Shri Lalita Devi. Goddess Lalita is considered to be the most beloved Gopi of Radha ji. Lalita is considered to have a huge contribution in Radha and Krishna’s love and Rasleela. Goddess Radha and Lord Krishna are pleased by worshiping Goddess Lalita on the day of Lalita Saptami and love and good luck are attained in life.
Lalita Saptami Puja Vidhi
Take a bath in the morning and meditate on Lord Ganesha, Radha Rani and Shri Krishna. On this day, worship Goddess Lalita, Radha-Krishna or Shaligram by law. After this, light a lamp of ghee and offer rice, coconut, turmeric, sandalwood, flowers, gulal, milk etc. Then offer sweets. It is considered very auspicious to offer Malpua on this day. Finally, offer arghya with water and tie radish or red thread in the right hand.
