Jyeshtha month has special significance in Sanatan Dharma. This month is considered to be completely dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Nirjala Ekadashi coming in this month is considered one of the most prominent and virtuous Ekadashis. There is a special description of this in the scriptures and its glory is mentioned in many texts including Vishnu Purana. It is believed that by observing this fast properly, the fruits of all 24 Ekadashis are obtained.
Nirjala Ekadashi: When and why?

Importance of fasting
Nirjala Ekadashi is also called Bhimseni Ekadashi. The mythological belief is that when Mahabali Bhimsen could not follow all the Ekadashis, Rishi Vyas suggested him to keep Nirjala Ekadashi once, so that he would get the virtue of all the Ekadashi. By observing this fast, longevity, health and salvation are attained.

Worship method
The beginning of the fast is considered from Dashami date. Eat sattvic food on this day and follow celibacy.
The next day, get up in the Brahma Muhurta of Ekadashi, bathe and bathe with water containing Ganga water.

After this, worship Lakshmi and Narayan duly. Chant the mantras of Lord Vishnu:
