When is the first Monday of Sawan?

Worship method

In the month of Sawan, get up early in the morning and take a bath and wear clean clothes. Then install the idol or Shivling of Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati. After this, do Jalabhishek them. Belpatra, sandalwood, flowers, akshat, incense, lamps, fruits, sweets, panchamrit are offered on the Shivling. Also, ॐ Namah Shivaya Mantra is also chanting. After this, finally read Shiva Chalisa and perform the Aarti of Shivling.
