Neem Karoli Baba’s scissors Dham (Nainital, Uttarakhand) has a very famous ashram and Tapobhoomi, which he himself established and where he lived for a long time. The annual ceremony is held on 15 June every year in the Kunchi Dham, which is the foundation day of his ashram and there is also a grand temple of Hanuman ji, where Neem Karoli Baba used to worship him. Nowadays many people consider scissors Dham as Neem Karoli Baba’s tomb, but it is not so. Actually Neem Karoli Baba’s tomb is not in the scissors Dham, but in Vrindavan in Uttar Pradesh.
Baba Neem Karoli renounced his body on 11 September 1973 in Vrindavan. His Mahasamadhi in Vrindavan is located at the same place where he spent his last day and breathed his last. His samadhi temple is built in his ashram located on the Parikrama Marg in Vrindavan. Which people do not know much about it. But his tomb has been built at this place.
The scissors Dham is located in Nainital district of Uttarakhand and is not an ashram of Neem Karoli Baba but an ashram. This ashram holds an important place in the lives of Baba and his devotees. It was established on 15 June. A huge bhandara is held here every year on 15 June.
If you want to see Neem Karoli Baba’s samadhi, then you have to go to Vrindavan, not scissors. On the occasion of Foundation Day, lakhs of devotees go to Vrindavan as well as Vrindavan to visit their tomb and pray for the fulfillment of their wishes. It is believed that going to their tomb fulfills the wishes of the people.
