Whose Shraddha should be performed on the seventh day of Pitru Paksha?
On Monday, September 23, perform the shraddha of those ancestors who died on the Saptami Tithi of any month. According to the Drik Panchang, the shraddha can be performed on the Saptami Tithi of both Shukla Paksha and Krishna Paksha on this day.

Wake up in the Brahma Muhurta in the morning.
After bathing, wear clean clothes.
Purify the ancestral place by coating it with cow dung and Ganga water.

After the arrival of Brahmins, make them worship and offer water to your ancestors.

Mix black sesame seeds in water and offer it to your ancestors.
Offer cow’s milk, ghee, kheer and curd in the fire for the sake of ancestors.
Make rice balls and offer them to your ancestors.
Feed the Brahmin with full respect.
Give donation according to your capacity.
After this, take their blessings and bid them farewell.
In Shraddha, apart from the ancestors, there is a tradition of feeding food to crow, cow, dog and ants.
