Lucknow, Amrit thoughts: Lord Jagannath’s holy Rath Yatra is starting in Puri from today. In this religious journey, Lord Jagannath along with his brother Balabhadra and sister Subhadra go to his aunt’s Gundicha temple. Jagannath Rath Yatra
The Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath has started from 27 June of Friday. Mangala Aarti took place at 6 am in Puri Dham. After this, religious methods of putting God on the chariot started from 9:30 am, and Lord will sit on the chariot around 1 pm. At 3 in the afternoon, the Gajapati of Puri’s royal family will inaugurate the journey by cleaning (Buhara) of the route with a gold broom. After this, Lord Jagannath, Subhadra and Balabhadra will leave for the Gundicha temple.
