The government argues that the development and propagation of Buddhist sites not only promotes religious tourism in the state but is also giving a new identity to India’s cultural heritage at the international level.
Tourism Minister Jayveer Singh has said to pay special attention to the promotion of Buddhist sites, works and heritage of the state. He said that the development and publicity of Buddhist sites not only promotes religious tourism in the state, but also internationally getting a new identity to India’s cultural heritage.
According to the Tourism Minister, the government is committed to take tourism to new heights. The top priority of the government is to complete the development works with quality within the stipulated time frame. No negligence or delay of any kind will be tolerated. All development works are being monitored regularly. It is our endeavor that tourism should get strong grounds in the state and tourists coming from India and abroad get world-class experience.
Jayveer Singh held a meeting with officials at the Directorate of Tourism on Tuesday. During the work review meeting, Jayveer Singh has instructed the officials that the speed of all the ongoing development works should be speeded before the rain starts. He said that time -bound and quality work should be priority so that the common man does not have any kind of inconvenience during the rain. Senior officials of the Department of Tourism and Culture were present in the meeting.
