New Delhi. Bajaj Auto has officially announced the launch date of its first CNG motorcycle, which will be the first of its kind in the world. The motorcycle will be launched on July 5, 2024, marking a milestone in the global automotive industry. Before this, no CNG motorcycle has been introduced in any market across the world. The launch event will take place in the presence of Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari and Bajaj Auto Managing Director Rajiv Bajaj.
Indian Railways Special features of the bike
According to the teaser released by Bajaj, the CNG motorcycle will have a flat single seat design. It is expected to have two fuel tanks – one for CNG and the other for petrol. The company claims that it will be easy to switch between the two fuel tanks. Pricing this innovative bike appropriately will be an important step for the company.

This CNG motorcycle, which will be the world’s first motorcycle to be launched in the Indian market, could prove to be a game-changer. Internally codenamed “Bruiser”, this bike may get a new name when it is launched. Bajaj claims that the CNG motorcycle will reduce the running cost by about 50% compared to petrol.
Two-Wheeler CNG first steps in
Bajaj Auto has a long history of manufacturing two-wheelers and has already introduced CNG models in the three-wheeler segment. However, this will be the first time the company will enter the two-wheeler segment with a CNG model. This bike is going to be the world’s first CNG motorcycle.
