Tata Motors: Car maker Tata Motors has decided to increase the prices of its vehicles by 2 to 2.5 percent. The increased price will be effective from April 1. Tata Motors said that due to rising prices of steel, aluminum and other items, it has to increase the prices of its vehicles.
Toyota Kirloskar: Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has also decided to increase the prices of all its products by up to 4 percent. TKM, which sells popular models such as the Fortuner and Innova Crysta, said the increased prices on the vehicles will be applicable from April 1. The company said that it has tried its best to minimize the impact of rising costs on customers.
BMW: BMW India is also going to increase the prices of vehicles. The company has announced that from April 1, 2022, the company is going to increase the price of all the models of its vehicles by up to 3.5 percent. According to BMW India, the price has to be increased due to the increase in cost. The company has to increase the price due to increase in material and logistics cost.
Mercedes-Benz: Mercedes-Benz India has also decided to increase the prices of all models. The company said that all its models will now be up to three percent more expensive. The company said that it had to take this decision due to the high cost due to the continuous increase in the cost of logistics. However, the company has tried that its customers should not be bothered much by this price hike. Prices of cars retailed by the Pune-based firm will increase by Rs 50,000 to Rs 5 lakh from next month.
