Lucknow News: There are many cases related to bribery on behalf of officers and employees working in different departments of Uttar Pradesh. In these cases, such bribes are also arrested. A case related to this came up from Lucknow, where the CBI’s Anti Corruption Branch, revealing a big case of bribery, caught two inspectors of the Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN) and a nursing home operator. It is said that the accused are accused of giving relief in the case related to illegal medicines and codeine syrup by taking a bribe of Rs 10 lakh. The CBI took this action by siege to the office of CBN’s metropolis.
Deva Nursing Home Director arrested with 2 inspectors
CBI’s Anti Corruption Branch took a bribe of Rs 10 lakh in Lucknow and arrested Inspector Ravi Ranjan and Mahipal Singh of Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN). According to the information received, Ghiyasuddin Ahmed, the director of Deva Nursing Home, has also been arrested along with them. Let us tell you that the CBI has taken this action in the office in the metropolis of CBN, where the deal to hand over the bribe was fixed.
10 lakh demand was made from nursing home operator
This bribery case came to light when CBN caught Roshan Lal, accused with banned drugs and codeine syrup. Inspector Mahipal Singh had claimed that Roshan Lal took the name of Nursing Home Director Gaisuddin during the investigation. After this, the inspectors demanded Rs 10 lakh from Gaiasuddin to provide relief. According to sources, Sunil Jaiswal played the role of middleman in this bribery deal. When the CBI came to know about the deal, he laid siege to the CBN office and caught the accused red handed. Apart from the CBN office, the team also raided the residences and other places of the accused inspectors. In this case, Kakub Ahmed and Sunil Jaiswal are also being questioned.
