Balrampur news: About 1100 meters long asphalt road leading from Utraula-Gonda main road in Ahirula Nagwa of Sridattganj area of Balrampur district has reached a bad condition. The surface of the road is uprooted and pits have been formed everywhere. Due to the water filling these pits in the rain, the situation worsens, due to which traffic has become very difficult for the villagers and children.
Villagers said that this route is the main connectivity route of Bhedpur village. Hundreds of people visit the council school and water tank daily from this route. School going children have to face the most problems due to mud and pits in the rain. Many times the children have also got hurt by slipping. Villagers say that if the repair is not done soon, a big accident can happen someday. Principal representative Mohammad Aamir said that this dilapidated road has affected the everyday life of villagers and children. The villagers have been demanding repair of the road for a long time, but so far no concrete initiative has been taken in this direction.
Villagers including Ram Sajan Verma, Ram Lagan Verma, Ajmatullah, Kalim Khan, Ghanshyam Verma, Rampal Verma, Riyaz, Gul Hasan, Anwar Khan and Alkharam Verma said that this route is needed by the village. It is difficult to drive a vehicle due to poor road, even walking is not safe. The villagers have demanded from the district administration that this route should be repaired on priority basis soon. He says that the improvement of the road will not only avoid the education of children, but the people of the village will also get relief. People have warned that if there is no early action, they will be forced to resort to the movement.
