Hero Splendor Plus Xtec: The leading two wheeler manufacturer Hero MotoCorp has created a sensation by launching its first Hero Splendor bike with front disc brake in the market. The newly launched bike Splendor Plus Xtec has been equipped with front disc brake facility to provide more safety features. At the same time, the drum brake feature has been continued at the rear end of this bike. Before the launch of this model, drum brake feature was available at both ends of Hero Splendor Plus Xtec. Hero MotoCorp company has continued the traditional design of the Splendor bike, its hardware and engine as before.
New Splendor Plus Xtec Features
The Splendor Plus Xtec introduced in the Indian two-wheeler market has included a bank-angle sensor as a special feature. Its specialty is that it shuts down the engine in case of a fall during an accident. This helps in avoiding any kind of serious situation. The console in it displays real time mileage indicator, side-stand indicator, speedometer, odometer, trip meter and fuel indicator. At the same time, it has an LED DRL with rectangular LED headlight. Connectivity features include a digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity for calls, SMS alerts and phone battery label status in this commuter bike.
Splendor Plus Xtec Engine
Hero’s new bike Splendor Plus Xtec has a 100cc, single-cylinder engine. This engine is capable of generating 7.09bhp of power and 8.05Nm of torque. For transmission, it is connected to a 4-speed gearbox. For suspension, telescopic forks have been added to it in the front, while updates like USB charging port and alloy wheels with dual shocks are seen at the rear.
Hero Splendor Plus Xtec Price
The Hero Splendor Plus Xtec disc brake variant launched in India is offered at an ex-showroom price of Rs 83,461. Its other variant drum brake trim is available for sale at an ex-showroom price of Rs 79,911.
