According to the information received, Islam and Rashida, who lived in the area, married two months ago. It is said that the woman was divorced before this marriage and she also has three children. Police sources say that there was an argument between the two on a domestic issue late on Friday evening, which turned into violence and meanwhile the bullet was fired. Eyewitnesses said that there was chaos in the entire area on hearing the sound of the bullet.

Rashida, who was injured after being shot, was admitted to Balrampur Hospital in a hurry by the police team, where doctors have described his condition out of danger. At the same time, the accused husband Islam is absconding from the spot after the incident. The police have started searching for the accused while sieging the area. The crime branch and forensic team have also been called for investigation. Efforts are being made to find out the exact cause of the incident by interrogating the local people.

Inspector Kaiserbagh said that initial police investigation has revealed that this was the second marriage of both. Ayesha, sister of the injured woman, said that she was informed about the firing on the phone. At the same time, the family believes that old enmity and domestic dispute may be the reason for this incident. Along with this, the police say that the accused is a resident of Islam Hardoi and works in a tobacco company in Amausi. At present, the police have assured that the accused will be arrested soon.
