Hyundai Aura CNG: Nowadays, due to rising fuel costs and expensive cars, it is proving to be an expensive deal for people to afford a four-wheeler. In such a situation, South Korean Hyundai Motor Company Hyundai has given a great gift to the people planning to buy a car on a low budget by introducing a very economical CNG car equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. Hyundai’s Aura High-CNG model, launched in the Indian market on 3 September this month, has made a tremendous entry in the range of budget friendly vehicles. This is the reason why this vehicle is getting bumper bookings since its launch. The company has launched only its base E variant in the initial phase. As a special feature in this car, a ‘leak-proof’ design element is available with a factory-fitted CNG kit. Apart from this, a CNG switch and CNG fuel filling nozzle have also been added for convenience. This is the third vehicle of the company to get dual-cylinder technology after Hyundai Xcent and Grand i10 Nios.
CNG Features of Hyundai Aura
Talking about the features included in the new CNG car Hyundai Aura, for safety features, it includes features like speed alert system and rear parking sensor, 6 airbags, 3-point seat belt, seatbelt reminder, ABS with EBD, immobilizer, emergency stop signal. While this car has features like front power windows, 3.5-inch speedometer with multi-information display and Z-shaped LED taillamps, height adjustable driver seat and adjustable rear seat headrest.
Hyundai Aura CNG Powertrain
Regarding this CNG car launched in India, the automaker claims that this car has the ability to cover a distance of 28.4 kilometers in one kilogram of CNG. This car has a 1.2-liter bi-fuel petrol-CNG engine with a 5-speed manual transmission, which can run on both petrol and CNG fuel. This setup is capable of generating 68bhp of power at 6,000rpm and a peak torque of 95.2Nm at 4,000rpm.
Hyundai Aura CNG Powertrain Price
This car has been launched in the Indian market at an ex-showroom price of Rs 7.49 lakh. It will compete with Tata Tigor CNG in the Indian market.
