Know the government’s fuel revolution scheme

Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari has recently shared a scheme regarding petrol. In this, India is now working fast on four major alternative fuels. These will include green hydrogen, ethanol and flex-fuel, compressed biogas (CBG) and isobutaneol diesel. The entire scheme is to promote motive local production, reduce the price of petrol and develop a pollution-free energy system. It will move the country forward.

Trial of hydrogen truck started

According to the government information, testing of 27 hydrogen trucks has been started at a cost of Rs 500 crore. These trucks are being run on the country’s major highway routes-Delhi-Agra, Mumbai-Pune, Jamnagar-Vadodara, Bhubaneswar-Puri and Visakhapatnam-Vijayawada. This truck uses Hydrogen Ice (Internal Combustion Engine) and Fuel Cell Technology. In this trial, 9 hydrogen refueling stations have also been installed across the country.

Green hydrogen

Nitin Gadkari has declared the future of Green Hydrogen the future of India. It is made by mixing hydrogen solar and wind power. There is no carbon emissions in it, which makes it clean fuel. It includes everything, garbage, bamboo, cow dung and organic waste everything has been used. NTPC and some private companies have already started using this new scheme.
