After an increase in excise duty by two rupees per liter, now excise duty will be imposed on petrol at the rate of 13 and diesel at Rs 10 per liter.
How many types are there tax?
According to reports, tax is applied in many ways on one liter of petrol. In addition to tax on the base price of raw oil, the dealer is charged with machine and charge as well as money. All these taxes are imposed by the central government, the price of raw oil and dealers are the same across the country, but the rate of VAT is according to the states. Because of this, the price of petrol of each state is different.
There is so much real price
The price of one liter of petrol is Rs 75.01 before the tax imposed by the Center and the states in the country. But when the dealer commission is imposed in it, its price is charged Rs 4.40. Now it is charged VAT at the rate of 19.4 per cent in Delhi, which is around Rs 15.40. Talking about Delhi, the price of one liter of petrol is Rs 94.81.
