Jaunpur News: Jaunpur Dr. Digvijay Singh Rathore, Nodal Officer of Cyber Club, Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University, said that the online gaming bill brought by the Government of India 2025 is a historic decision in the interest of the common man. After the law was enacted, those mobile apps and websites will be banned, who used to give cheating and cyber crime by luring people in the name of playing games.
Dr. Rathore said that online gaming was pushing the youth of our country towards waste. According to estimates, 45 crore people of the country have lost about 20 thousand crores in real money gaming so far. This amount was reaching some companies and organized gangs. Cyber crimes were also being done on a large scale through fake apps, which will now be controlled.
Gaming apps will be banned
He said that the bill will stop only those gaming apps in the bill, including financial transactions. Whereas e-games with entertainment and educational objective will be out of this realm.
People lose their hard earned money on gaming apps
Dr. Rathore said that people were losing their hard earned money on gaming apps by luring money. Sometimes after winning the money, he used to suffer continuously by getting stuck in the same circle and became pauper. Many people have also taken steps like suicide under such circumstances. He said that this step of the government is a big and meaningful effort to secure both youth and society.
