Jawa 42FJ350: A new Jawa 42 FJ model based on the Jawa 42 is going to be seen on the roads in the Indian market soon. Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has launched this new style bike today on 3 September. It has been equipped with a special bigger engine to give better mileage and strong performance. This bike includes dual-channel ABS with an assist and slipper clutch safety feature as standard features and it also has features like LED headlamp, a semi-digital instrument console.
Jawa 42 FJ Design and Looks
The Jawa 42 FJ bike launched in India features machine cut alloy wheels with upswept exhaust and off-set fuel tank cap to provide an attractive look. The side panels and fenders of this bike are shared with the standard bike. But the design of the seat looks latest. The position of the handlebar has also been changed for comfortable riding. This model gives a much bolder look than the standard model. In which the ‘Jawa’ logo with brushed and aluminum finish on the tear-drop shaped fuel tank has been given a more attractive look than before.
Jawa 42 FJ Powertrain
Talking about the features of the powertrain included in the Jawa 42 FJ bike, its seat height is 790mm, ground clearance is 178mm and weight is 184 kg. The weight of this bike is 2 kg more than that of Jawa 42. This bike shares the upgraded 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine from Jawa 350. This engine is capable of generating 29.1hp of power and 29.6Nm of torque. For transmission, it is connected with a 6-speed gearbox.
Jawa 42 FJ Price
The ex-showroom price of Jawa 42 FJ launched in India is between Rs 1.99 lakh and Rs 2.20 lakh. The starting price of this bike is Rs 26,000 more than Jawa 42. It will compete with Royal Enfield Classic 350, TVS Ronin and Royal Enfield Hunter 350.
