Kia Carnival: South Korean carmaker Kia Motors is soon going to add a car equipped with smart features to its portfolio in the Indian four-wheeler market. For which dealers have started taking bookings unofficially. Customers can book this car, which is going to be launched under the name of Kia Carnival, by paying a token amount of Rs 1 lakh for advance booking. With the launch in the market, this luxury MPV will be imported and sold as a CBU unit in the initial phase, due to which the price of this model can be a little higher.
After seeing the response to this car, the company will soon move towards local manufacturing in India. After which its price is also expected to come down. Regarding the launch of the new Kia Carnival, it is expected that it can be launched on October 3 this year. Initially, only one variant of it will be introduced in the market with 2-3 exterior color options and many smart features included in foreign cars. On October 3, Kia Motors is also preparing to launch Kia EV9 in India.
Upcoming Kia Carnival Features
The advanced features of the Kia Carnival that is going to be launched in the Indian market include a head-up display, digital rear-view mirror with a 14.6-inch screen specifically for second-row passengers. Apart from this, features like a 12.3-inch touchscreen display and digital instrument console, ambient lighting have been added. The design language will include sliding system and request sensor on the rear door and new alloy wheels, large tiger nose grille with chrome elements, LED headlamps and inverted L-shaped LED DRLs.

Talking about the features of the powertrain included in the new Kia Carnival, it has features like 8 airbags and ADAS suite for the safety of the passengers. At the same time, a 2.2-liter, 4-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine option is available in it. This engine is equipped with the ability to generate 200ps of power and 440Nm of torque. It will be connected to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
