The company has announced that it will open 1,500 electric vehicle (EV) service workshops in more than 1,000 cities by the financial year 2030-31. Maruti Suzuki’s new roadmap- Big expansion in the field of EV servicing

Maruti Suzuki no longer wants to be limited to petrol and CNG cars. The company has started taking concrete steps towards strengthening the EV servicing network even before entering the field of electric mobility.

The company aims to start 1,500 EV service workshops across the country by 2030-31, which will be spread over more than 1,000 cities. This means that in every corner of the country, the company is getting ready to provide service and repair facility to its EV customers easily. These workshops will have specially trained technicians and will be used EV-specific tools and equipment.

Extension ranging from 5,400 to 13,900- Service touchpoint will also be strengthened

Maruti Suzuki plans to create more than 13,400 by adding 8,000 new touchpoints to the current 5,400 service touchpoints.

Its aim is that as the demand for electric vehicles increases, the customer can get the facility of servicing anywhere and anytime.

Maruti Suzuki has crossed the servicing figure of more than 24.5 lakh cars in May 2025. Which is the largest figure in the company’s history so far. This included paid service, free service and running repair all three types of servicing. This figure shows how broad and efficient the company’s service network is and in the coming time it will be equally capable of electric vehicles.

E-Vitara- First electric car will be launched in September

Maruti Suzuki is going to launch its first electric SUV E-Vitara in September 2025. This train is specially designed for Indian roads and for this the company is preparing EV charging network along with service. Maruti believes that without strong charging and service networks, it can cause problems in adopting EV in a country like India.
